(SOLVED) Weird mirror activity

Anyone know why it fails to log in and then becomes successful and then fails and then becomes successful again and sometimes I have to run Pacman 2-3 times to fully download the packages?

I only use these:

Server = ftp://ftp.yz.yamagata-u.ac.jp/pub/linux … po/os/i686
Server = http://ftp.yz.yamagata-u.ac.jp/pub/linu … po/os/i686

Should I comment out the ftp address? I assume it doesn't work any more?

Just try another mirror.

(It may be useful to uncomment two or three different ones (with your preferred mirror first) so that pacman can fallback on others if your first one is out).

You can use rankmirrors and reflector to help you with the mirrors.
