My netbook can't read the Sd card. I installed Archlinux, and it used to be able to read cards on Windows, but it can't anymore. I have an acer aspire one...so any help would be appreciated
Thanks

So far they don't work under linux.
The multicard reader will be listed as
"ID 0cf2:6250 ENE Technology"
with lsusb only if a card is already inserted.

Are you sure none of the sd cards work ?
@OP: is Arch not seeing the card at all or simply not mounting it? Can you post the output of
sudo fdisk -l
I am assuming that you are using xorg18. If Arch is seeing the card but not mounting it, have you created the udev rules for sd cards?
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Inxsible - fyi the installed xorg version is completely irrelevant here.

Well if he were using xorg 17, I would have pointed him to the Hal article on wiki and not the udev mount rules. IIRC, the installation snapshot still has xorg17 in it.

This card reader uses a proprietary protocol, and there is no kernel driver for it, yet.
