SOLVED - Whois doesn't work

Please what might be affecting querring domains by whois ? Here it works well when querring domains by name; it works when doing whois cnn.com, and all is well.

However, it can't connect to whois.arin.net, whois.apnic.net nor any other whois server when querrring 157.166.224.25 or any other IP address It says "[Unable to connect to remote host]". Why does it happen ?

Host resolver works well, no problems. Dig works well too. Whois querring by name works all the time. Whois querring by IP address never works. Strange.

Buggy program. I compiled a buggy jwhois version. After downloading a regular, the newest plain whois everything works well. Thank you.
