Migrating Arch from 32bit to 64bit

I have decided to reinstall my Archlinux, because the old one is a 32bit install, and I want to move to 64bit. No hardware changes are involved, just a plain migration. I also move from ext3 to xfs, so fstab will also be changed significantly compared to the old install.
I basically want the same look and feel, so I plan to copy all /home folders to the new install, and installing all the packages I had previously with pacman, and should be good to go.
I thought of copying /etc as well, but my question is, what special files I have to treat as special (meaning, I cannot just copy it from the old install), concerning the move to 64bit and xfs? What I found so far are
fstab (obviously)
pacman.conf

And help will be appreciated.

I still had the i686 suffix in the repo lines (now I will use the $arch)

because he might be using that partition for files which xfs handles better than ext4.

Lately I saw a bit of corruption on my older system with ext4. Although it recovered correctly, I am not sure if it won't happen again. So all filesystems have their pros and cons.
