How to tell if UPNP is on

Is there a command to tell if UPNP is turned on?  I am trying to use PS3 media Server but it won't show up on my XMB.  The program shows as seeing the PS3, but the PS3 can't see it and I am hoping it is just me needing to turn this on.

Take a look in your log files.

# cat /var/log/pms.log
# cat /var/log/debug.log

To me those log files were very helpful in setting PMS up.
