Hi all,
New arch user here. I've been working on getting a flash plugin working all evening and don't seem to be making any progress.
Version of Chromium that I have: 5.0.375.125 (0)
I have an x86_64 architecture, also.
I've searched these forums/google and tried the AUR nspluginwrapper-debian/nspluginwrapper-flash solution (manually with makepkg) however, flash isn't working on firefox (3.6.8) either; nspluginwrapper installed without issue, and made sure the permissions are correct. about:plugins does not show anything about flash on either browser.
Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?
EDIT: It just decided to work in firefox. Still nothing in chrome...
EDIT2: Actually I think it's using the swf plugin in place of the flash plugin.

i'm using chromium and flash in a x86_architecture. I've installed these packages:
[2010-02-13 07:10] upgraded flashplugin (10.0.42.34-1 -> 10.0.45.2-1)
[2010-04-11 12:14] upgraded libflashsupport (9.0.21.78-5 -> 9.0.21.78-7)
did you install they?

I have the exact same setup as you, so I know for a fact it works. Make sure you have all previous flash plugins removed, and use the following to install:

I just use flashplugin 10.0.45 and use browsers that block flash until i allow it.
Maybe one of these days, when I am not feeling lazy, I will switch over to nspluginwrapper. But that would mean installing 32 bit libraries in my pristine 64 bit machine
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

It is my understanding this has been removed from the official repositories, correct?

This did it! I removed all the previous plugins for flash, and used yaourt for installing from the AUR. Works perfectly now. Thank you so much!
As your reward, I'm going to share what I randomly clicked on on youtube's homepage to test it (it's SFW):
