KDE keyboard layout indicator disappeared from system tray!

Hi,
I'm on a fully updated 32b Arch/KDE 4.4.5.
I use a dual English/Hebrew keyboard layout, and, till a few minutes ago had a functional keyboard layout indicator (flag) in my system tray (lower right).
Suddenly, while working, the indicator disappeared (I did NOT upgrade any package).
KDE System Settings-->Country/Region Language-->Keyboard Layout still shows both correct active layouts and "show country flag" is selected.

Restarting KDM didn't help.

Please advise!

Thanks

Best regards,

Re: KDE keyboard layout indicator disappeared from system tray!

it could just be a glitch. have you tried restarting your machine?

you say you restarted KDM -- does that mean you restarted X ?

I have even rebooted without a change.

Re: KDE keyboard layout indicator disappeared from system tray!

Solved by:
1. Backing up KDE PIM components
2. Removing the ~/.kde4 folder (including sub-folders)
3. Rebooting
4. Restoring KDE PIM contents
