OpenSSL 1.x update

Hi,

A vulnerability for OpenSSL was reported not long ago ( http://www.h-online.com/security/news/i … 53147.html ). The arch package was updated to reflect the fix ( http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 17553.html ).

Forgive my ignorance, but does this mean all services using SSL need to be restarted or is the vulnerability negligible? Just trying to be on the safe side here.

Thanks.

Re: OpenSSL 1.x update

Yes, the easiest way is to just restart those services. (although only "clients" are affected; servers might act as clients sometimes)
