[SOLVED]Grub2, 30_os-prober can't find windows 7!

Hi,

I installed grub2 yesterday after reading wiki, but it could not find windows 7. I added it using custom script, but I couldn't figure out why 30_os-prober does not work as expected.

What can be the problem?

As I understand, the problem is I do not have os-prober package installed. I will install it from aur when it is updated because it is out of date now. Then I can tell you the result.

well you do not have to wait for the maintainer to update the package. Simply download the PKGBUILD and make the necessary changes to get the latest version. OR build it from source directly.

Thank you. I did not know that. I changed PKGBUILD and installed os-prober. Now I have no problem with Grub2 and windows 7.
