Move from raid0 to raid5

Hello! I need some advice.

I have my Arch on a pair of 500GB disks on a fake-raid0, and I like to add a third 500GB disk an convert my current setup to raid5.
I have googled it but the info its not very clear to me.
Could anyone give some advice on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Re: Move from raid0 to raid5

RAID-0 and RAID-5 are totally different data algorithms (string vs striped-partity) so you will not be able to migrate without loosing data.

You will need to:
1) Backup
2) Backup
3) Test the Backup
4) Destroy the RAID-0
5) Create the RAID-5
6) Restore Backup
