Recent Firefox pop-ups

Firefox used to be a haven. But recently a few popups have slipped under the radar and are really irritating. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Advertisers are getting smarter, sadly.  Javascript popups are getting more prevalent and in my opinion are more annoying than regular popups.  Unfortunately the only fix for those kinds of popups is to disable javascript.

kill, that's what I do.  In the few cases where I need to enable javascript, I just check it and reload that particular page.  I've noticed a few pages recently where the Ad takes up my entire freaking web page with js enabled.

I've noticed the same with Konqueror... Only one web page so far. But yeah, disabling JS should work.
