Using VPN inside VirtuablBox

I am not sure if this is the proper place to ask this question.
I am using Arch Linux as a guest system inside VBox, I wanna connect to VPN network inside Arch, what network setting should I use?
NAT? OR Bridge ?

Do not use Linux as desktop.

It's probably a question for the Virtualbox forums at Oracle. I think NAT is possible, but you will probably have to forward ports between the host and the guest. If you use bridged mode, the Archlinux VM will appear like a physical computer on your network.

I am using PacketiX vpn inside Arch, both NAT and Bridge don't work for me, I've no idea what's the problem.

PacketiX vpn has its own client, I don't think other client would work.

Re: Using VPN inside VirtuablBox

I am forced to use something called forticlient and I can't get it work with nat or bridge.

However: Host=Arch Client=Windows XP

VPN really gets deep into the network stuff and the layer of bridging / emulation is probably not complete enough.

Best solution would be to get a second nic card and have it dedicated to your virtual machine.
