How do I make my Reliance Broadband (http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/int … tures.html) work in ArchLinux?
The procedure in windows:-
1. Switch on the modem (ZTE ZXDSL 831 Series).
2 First the POWER LED remains red, the Ethernet LED starts to blink
3. Then After sometime, my INTERNET LED starts to blink and POWER LED turns green.
4. Now I open google.com and I am redirected to reliancebroadband.co.in, and its there where I enter username & password. After successful login, I can then surf the internet.
In ArchLinux, how can I connect to internet.
I have tried:-
I ran ipconfig in windows to get the settings, and then did the corresponding settings in linux using networkmanager in KDE. I made sure that after applying for the connection, I had the connection status as connected. But, after that I am even not able to even ping to my default gateway. Also, I still I am not redirected to the reliance login page.
My settings in WINDOWS looks like these http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14180960/InternetSettings.jpg
Please help me in configuring my connection.

Also, while going through google, various people instructed to goto http://192.168.0.1 or something similar. But, I cant goto that page. Also, my ip is not something like 192.*.*.*.. In ipconfig (windows) it shows my ip as 123.*.*.* (which is same as my external IP)
And I hate this company because when I called them, they said, we dont provide any assistance for linux. :S
