Proxy awareness and bauerbill (and others..)

Hi folks,

I don't have much experience of proxies, so I'm probably doing something really wrong here. For various reasons, I need to tunnel all my HTTP traffic through a proxy. I'm using squid locally, on port 3128.

Everything appears fine, except for when using bauerbill to pull from the AUR. The problem's probably best explained as follows:

% bauerbill -Ss choqok --aur
community/choqok 0.9.92-1
    A Twitter/identi.ca/laconica client for KDE

There should be a second entry: choqok-svn from the AUR.

I have "http_proxy=localhost:3128" in /etc/env/environment, and "session  required  pam_env.so" in /etc/pam.d/{login,sudo,su}.

Looking at the proxy log, it doesn't seem like the requests are hitting squid.

What gives?
