Ok.
So I've been trying to set up rtorrent with xmlrpc in order to manage torrents remotely with my android phone. I have managed to set everything up to the point where i can connect to rtorrent and see the downloads etc. Basically I can do everything I want except one thing. I can't add any new torrents! Stopping, pausing, removing torrents seem to all work fine. I have also set up a wtorrent interface in order to search for faults and I run in to the exact same thing there so it's most likely a server side issue. But I have been spending hours on this now with no luck so now I turn to you instead.
To me this seems to be an issue with permissions but even if i give write access to all users the problem remains. So I really am at a loss here. What could possibly be wrong?
