spotify linux native stopped working after last update. The problem is that there is no sound. I have the latest spotify version from aur.
$ sudo pacman -Q spotify
spotify 0.4.8.306-2During the update there was also alot of kde stuff pulled. I now have kde 4.5.3 pakages.
There is also a error if I start spotify from console
$ spotify

Huh? Kde packages? Spotify is using QT in some way, but I don't get any kde stuff and I have the same version as you.
The error is about something visual, should have nothing to do with your sound problem.
Have you checked spotify's settings? Are you using Pulse, alsa, oss? Sound works elsewhere?

sound works with i.g mplayer. Spotify settings? Can I tune anything here? I use alsa for sound.

it also adds a pulseaudio line when I start playing a song
