smbnetfs

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sa … vironments

Hi. I'm using Arch with Xfce on a netbook, connecting to Samba shares locally hosted on Ubuntu 10.04 desktop (a small home network). Just using this to access the video and audio content on the desktop, if that helps.

After consulting the wiki entry above, I am having trouble accessing my share(s) automatically. I can manually load the fuse kernel module, and restart smbnetfs daemon, my share is then mounted under /mnt/smbnet/WORKGROUP/<hostname>/<share>, smbnetfs seems to have loaded, because starting it manually will fail (it's already started?). Restarting it works.

I thought it best if I provide my rc.conf, as I'll admit my daemons array is a bit of a mess. You'll see I've added smbnetfs to my daemons array, and fuse the modules section.

Suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
