[SOLVED]Deluge working fine but no access to websites. Can't even Ping

Hey guys, please help me out. I was trying to add the GNOME-network manager to the GNOME-panel but it was not working properly, so I removed it. Now, when I try to access the website using either Chromium or Firefox, I can't do that. Moreover, I can't even ping. Deluge is working fine on the other hand. I think that it is a DNS issue. Here's the out put of my /etc/resolv.conf file

# Generated by dhcpcd from eth0
# /etc/resolv.conf.head can replace this line
nameserver 192.168.1.1
# /etc/resolv.conf.tail can replace this line

The output of my /etc/hosts file

#
# /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
#

#<ip-address>    <hostname.domain.org>    <hostname>
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost Arch-64

# End of file

And, the output of my /etc/rc.conf file

#
# /etc/rc.conf - Main Configuration for Arch Linux
#

# LOCALIZATION
# -----------------------------------------------------------------------
#

Re: [SOLVED]Deluge working fine but no access to websites. Can't even Ping

you could try another nameserver like the google dns or opendns...

for example replace nameserver 192.168.1.1 with nameserver 8.8.8.8 and see if it works

Its working now.. just had to remove the '!' (exclamation mark) from

gateway="default gw 192.168.1.1"
ROUTES=(!gateway)

I think that it was added by the gnome-network-manager app.
