Hi all,
after the last kernel upgrade (about 12 march 2011) i cannot mount my encfs file system.
the encfs command hang , fusermount takes 1 cpu at 100% and fill the logfiles with the following message :

FWIW, encfs is working fine here with the same versions and a fully up-to-date system (not using testing).

I do not have this issue either...

I feel that this is the kernel issue.
One of my machines, which is a LUKS/LVM setup stopped booting last Friday after the latest update with very similar messages leading to fs/inode.c:1375.
It did that on mounting USB flash drive/ext3 with LUKS key. I tried to change the filesystem to ext2 and ext4, but it didn't help.
Then I changed the UFD filesystem to XFS and moved slightly further in the boot process to the mounting of root device, which is ext4, but got these messages again.
So, I downgraded the kernel to 2.6.37.2 and all is okay now. Maybe it is worth posting to lkml?

I'm having the same issue except its happening to my ext3 /boot partition which I cannot mount. Oddly it boots fine, however this means that when I try to update my kernel this isn't actually writing to the partition where grub is looking. This will take a bit of work to figure out.
I uninstalled fuse which at least fixed the 100% core usage issue. I'm not, to my knowledge, actively using fuse though, of course, there are some conveniences it offers which will get annoying if I don't fix this soon.

I have the extact same problem. I have found that fuse is my problem aswell. Any time gconf is started fusermount pulls 100% of my cpu. If anyone finds a workaround without downgrading please let us know.
