[SOLVED] Can't get any sound working at all

I've just installed Arch again on my MacBook 5,2 and I can't get any sound (speakers or earphones) to work. I've tried the ALSA wiki page for troubleshooting, but none of that has worked. Does anyone have any ideas where to start with this?

Just so someone can help you better, was it working before? And what exactly did you do on the wiki page to try to get it to work?

I've tried all the stuff in the "Troubleshooting" section, and I've never got it to work before.

Just guessing:

Is ALSA installed? Have you already tried # alsaconf ? Does alsamixer works?
