Hi,
I've been trying to connect to my home WiFi for a while now, using NetworkManager, the network is available however clicking it does nothing. It's WEP encrypted.
I can't connect to my Android WiFi hotspot with WPA2 encryption but yet it connects fine with no encryption?
Wicd has no problems with my home WiFi encrypted.
Is this a known issue? I had the Gnome 3 updates pushed to me yesterday.
Thanks!
Edit: come to think of it. It never worked in Gnome 2.x either (Did in Ubuntu), it complained the data was invalid or something. Still, i'd like to get it working

I don't have gnome in my laptop. But for encryption wifi, the following file is very important.
/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
I use the netcfg for wifi, and it works very.
I suggest you to search arch wiki for more detail information.
