Unable to connect to encrypted Wifi

Hi,

I've been trying to connect to my home WiFi for a while now, using NetworkManager, the network is available however clicking it does nothing. It's WEP encrypted.

I can't connect to my Android WiFi hotspot with WPA2 encryption but yet it connects fine with no encryption?

Wicd has no problems with my home WiFi encrypted.

Is this a known issue? I had the Gnome 3 updates pushed to me yesterday.

Thanks!

Edit: come to think of it. It never worked in Gnome 2.x either (Did in Ubuntu), it complained the data was invalid or something. Still, i'd like to get it working smile

Re: Unable to connect to encrypted Wifi

I don't have gnome in my laptop. But for encryption wifi, the following file is very important.
  /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

I use the netcfg for wifi, and it works very.

I suggest you to search arch wiki for more detail information.
