[SOLVED] Slow desktop animation Gnome 3
This only happens with my nvidia gtx 460 with nvidia drivers. My laptop with open source intel works fine. The problem is that when I go to the activities with my notification area (bottom right) populated then the frames per second is horribly slow. When the notification area is empty then it works fine. Since the activities is pivotal to using gnome 3 it is the only thing stopping me from liking it and drives me crazy. I suspect it might be a problem with the way gnome works. Anyone have suggestions?

Player around with my nvidia driver settings and disabled flipping and vsync. Now it works perfectly.
