[SOLVED] gnome-shell target not found

I am following these directions, but get "target not found" when I try to install gnome-shell

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Gnome_3

I have uncommented testing, the header and the include line in pacman.conf,  I switch to tty1 as root, stop gdm, run pacman -Syu. uname -a shows I'm on kernel 2.6.38-ARCH.  I believe that's the correct one in testing.

I then run 'pacman -S gnome-shell' and get "target not found"

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Culley

When you issues about packages in testing, create threads in [testing]

Moving....

Tried a different mirror?

Re: [SOLVED] gnome-shell target not found

I had tried five different mirrors, but just uncommenting the main Arch Linux repo seemed to do the trick.

Thanks,
