The wiki has some ideas for you: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sh … Connection .

IMO you should return that wireless router - it doesn't help in your particular circumstances.

If I understand you correctly, you want to use your computer/laptop as router for your Wii?

Probably this HOWTO helps: http://lartc.org/lartc.html

How safe is to have a wep open ad-hoc? I try to proceed by netcfg but w/o getting any success, but i did'it manualy the first time and that was a charm.  I'm just worry about the fact that i don't want my security comprise because i am under a simple wep ad-hoc.  Did i am paranoiad or is it really a possible to get hack that way?  For my Wii, they seem to talk about the fact that I will need to get a special usb wifi, because w/o the wifi signal doesnt reach the wii.  I will just continue, doing what i'm doing hoping for the best that i will came with a smart idea.
