[GNOME 3.0.1][ATI] Graphic glitches

hello,

i have newest gnome 3.0.1 from testing and official ati catalyst 11.4 installed on my machine.
There`s graphical glitches on main panel on the top.

how fix this ?

On gnome 2 with compiz-fusion there was no problems with this driver.

the issue at hand is that the bug lies within the propietary driver, and there is nothing the opensource crowd can do.

you could try the ati opensource drivers too. but i dont know whow well they will work either :S

I had issues with the catalyst driver with a hd4870 + gnome3, however with the opensource ati drivers it works perfectly.

So there is no way to fix this when opensource ATI is not an option? Seems odd that it only happens in gnome3

On nvidia drivers with nvidia card it works without glitches?

Yes, opensource drivers works, but with cost of efficiency in opengl apps.

Yes, there's currently no solution to this bug other than switching to opensource drivers. The only thing to do now is to wait to a fix from ATI.

Maybe gnome have bug. It doesn`t recognize my graphics card.
