CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated

Today I want to use phoronix-test-suite, but when I launch it, I get warning: curl_setopt(): CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set in /usr/share/phoronix-test-suite/pts-core/objects/pts_network.php on line 90. How can I to solve this problem?

I solved this problem by commenting out open_basedir in /etc/php/php.ini. Possibly not the safest, but I don't really use PHP for anything but the phoronix-test-suite, so it seemed reasonable.
