Ajaxterm remotely gives a blank page

I need to access my server using SSH from computers which do not have ssh clients available. So I installed Ajaxterm on the server to access SSH from a web browser. On the server I can access Ajaxterm locally using http://localhost:8022/ and this works perfectly, the terminal is loaded in the browser. Now to access remotely I set up a proxy in Apache SSL, so that when I access https://my.domain.com/term, it should access localhost:8022. When I access it, the page name changes to Ajaxterm, so the proxy seems to be doing it's job. However, the page is completely blank and nothing loads. I've tried Chromium, Firefox and IE as browsers, they all behave the same.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?
