Re: Arch Homer Madness! Nominations

does it also eat up a lot of memory and slow the CPU down?

I was using it last night to update some id3 tags, and my machine just got bogged down. CPU usage was constantly at around 80%. My machine hadn't done anything like that before, so I am blaming puddletag.  But I will see if it occurs again.

Have not noticed ram/cpu eating (having ram/cpu conky monitors). Probably you have selected a dir with really plenty of tracks with subfolders checkbox selected..

I second for nethogs and xnviewmp... my votes:

acerhk - Very importand tool to get those bluetooth and wifi hotkeys working on many acer laptops. I think it was included in the main repos in the past but somehow removed.
kfilebox - Dropbox client for KDE
trayfreq - Frequency and scaling policy selection tool for tray.
fbxkb - Language indicator for system tray
repacman-(en) - A tool for producing a pacman package from software's existing installation
kcm-rcconf-settings - Rc.conf frontend for KDE's system settings
kcm-ufw - UFW frontend for KDE's system settings

Re: Arch Homer Madness! Nominations

blazeblogger - A very capable and KISS CMS written in Perl.
burn-cd - A great command line CD/DVD burner. The PKGBUILD needs an update for the python2 thing, though.
fuse-emulator & libspectrum - The best ZX Spectrum emulator there is, but please compile it with SDL support (full screen!).
gnurobbo & gnurobbo-data-nonfree - A really nice action puzzle game.
ihatethecashew-plasmoid - Admit it... you hate it too!
oggvideotools - You can do a lot of video editing on the command line with these.
openmsx - The MSX emulator that aims for perfection (and it's almost there).
opentyrian-hg - A legendary shoot'em up, now free software!
pngcrush and jpgcrush - Two little utilities that do their job quite well.
powder - An awesome roguelike, very accessible to new players.
stella - THE Atari 2600 emulator.
vitetris - No need for X to play a nice game of Tetris.

Unfortunately, I talked with upstream and was sad to hear that we can not legally ship the media files, so it is a no go, otherwise it would have been in [community] by now sad

The inclusion of pacman-color to the pacman codebase is discussed (again) on the forums.
