I installed LibreOffice yesterday and found that the horizontal slider in 'calc' will not move. Or it moves erratically a couple of times and stops. The left and right arrows (< >) are only partially visible, i.e. the lower parts. The vertical slider works normally. Luckily the keyboard arrows do work...
I have reinstalled four times, after trying to clean out (pacman -Rnsu) previous traces of OpenOffice/LibreOffice, from these locations:
/etc/
/var/abs/extra/*
/home/*/.config/*
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/*
The problem remains, and whether I open a new or old document.
Anyone experienced the same or have any tips?
My system:
Intel Core i7
ATI RV770 [Radeon HD 4850]
6 Gib RAM

yep, I also notice the stucked horizontal slider in libreoffice calc 3.4 here. Version 3.3.2 was ok.

I just checked that on my system and your right. Looks like a bug report might be needed if one hasn't already been filed.

Thanks for the replies - good to know I'm not alone
I guess I should learn how to file a bug report then...
Edit: I have now submitted a bug report on this.

I had the same problem and the solution was to change from oxygen to qtcurve. Now everything is fine.

LibreOffice 3.4 is a "beta" release and has numerous issues.

mundane, have you filed a bug report? Forum threads are often missed by concerned devs. A bug report is surely to be checked upon.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !
