Problem with font at pypanel

Hi,
I'm having a trouble with some of my fonts. I had very few fonts when the installation of arch was complete. So I followed some guides to get more fonts. But now I have a problem. I have a wierd looking text at the bottom left of my screen (the pypanel). I'm including a screenshot of the issue. There's the only place where there seems to be a problem. And I've searched some but can't find an answer. So some help would be much appreciated!

PS. I'm very new to linux, so if someone can help me I would appreciate a detailed fix.

Thanks
EDIT: Forgot to include screenshot, coming soon
EDIT2:

Sorry about the big image, wont happend again.

Yet another EDIT: The problem seemed to solve itself when I changed the background with 'feh'. I don't know how, but the problem is solved. Sort of tongue
