[SOLVED] Broadcom BCM4312 wi-fi stoped working

Hi.
After recent update, my wi-fi stoped working. I have moved module blacklisting rules from /etc/rc.conf to /etc/modprobe.d, and after booting the wl module is the only one loaded (so, no b43)
$ lsmod | grep -E "(wl|b43|ssb)"
wl                   2527080  0
lib80211                4198  2 lib80211_crypt_tkip,wl
There was a kernel update, so i have also reinstalled broadcom-wl package. But it didn't help.
$ sudo iwlist wlan0 scan
wlan0     Failed to read scan data : Invalid argument

What am i missing? Please help.

Update: turns out, i accidently pressed the hardvare wi-fi deactivation button, and my dell notebook has no indication for it whatsoever.
