Gnome 3 / GPU problem

Dear archusers,

Another question. Gnome 3 boots, but that's it. whenever I even click the bar on the top it crashes. \
My GPU might be too old or just not installed correctly. I'm using a radeon 7000 IGP.
I tried to install it by installing # pacman -S xf86-video-ati. do i need to install or config anything more besides this?
KDE also isn't that smooth.

thanks

Re: Gnome 3 / GPU problem

post your error logs and the output of dmesg so we can see what's going on.

Re: Gnome 3 / GPU problem

Thank you, I'll try something like dmesg > boot.messages and post it here.
