wicd dropping connection after just a few secs
So I installed wicd on my work laptop, works great haven't had a single issue. Now when I'm using it on my desktop it craps out after just a few seconds. I read the wiki and that's how I set them both up on their respective systems, anyone else know what this might be about? I'll post any necessary info for yah if you'd like

Can you please provide some details, provided by commands like these :
ifconfig -a
lsmod
iwconfig
Your network configuration : WEP, WPA, MAC filter ...
You can also try to set up your connection manually with iwconfig, as described here : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … nual_setup

So I gave up for a bit, reinstalled Arch again and sure enough the issue resolved itself may of been just me fooling around too much in my various config files nonetheless she's running smoothly now! Thanks twix, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner I do appreciate you taking the time to see what you could do
