WICD disconnects while switching to different TTY

I'm using trick with starting applications on other TTY in graphic mode, described here:

Started with UrT, now I'm using it to applications, that need hardware acceleration. Everything works well, but wicd disconnects me from Internet while switching to different Xserver.

Any advice?
