So I figured out how to get wireless working with wireless manager, however its more of a workaround than a permanant solution.
On boot, networkmanager starts, yet the kde applet detects no wireless interface.
My solution

rfkill unblock 0
rfkill unblock
/etc/rc.d/networkmanager stop
/etc/rc.d/networkmanager start
and BAM GARLIC! it works.
I would however like to not have to do this everytime I boot.
Given my limited knowledge, I would presume that the best solution would be to create a script that would run while the system boots, which would execute after udev but before network manager..sadly...I do not have a clue how to do this.
My question...If someone could assist me with this script, it would be awesome (assuming its possible)
If someone has a better idea, please lay it on me.

Just put your commands/scripts in
/etc/rc.localor in KDE, put any file (executable) in
~/.kde4/AutostartS-
