Bind zone transfers

Would anyone be able to help with getting Bind zone transfers to work?  The basic setup is I do secondary DNS for the domain of a server a friend and myself run.  The little documentation I've found on zone transfers wasn't helpful by any means.  Anyone have a working setup of Bind with automatic zone transfers?

Did you figure out what you needed to do?  I'm about to setup one of my servers as a primary... about to do some research.
