[SOLVED] Advice internet sharing.

I would like to ask for advice on the most straight forward solution for following setup.

INTERNET --> firewall/router --> wireless -------> | ra0-> my computer --> DHCP(server) --> eth0 | --> (switch) --> computer 1,2,3, etc.

I have three network interfaces.

- ra0 (reciving wireless network), Ralink RT2870
-eth0 (connecter to a swtich)
-eth1 (not used)

I would like to share my internetconnection to computers that I attach to the switch on eth0 (possible also a second switch on eth1).

Further I would like the computer that attach to the switch to be assigned IP using DHCP. (My Silicon Graphic Fuel, computer works best if I use DHCP).

I need to setup a DHCP server, looked at dhcpcd but it seems to require Networkmanager. Hope there is a easier way to set it up then using Networkmanager.

Thank you for ideas.

Best regards,
/Christer

Re: [SOLVED] Advice internet sharing.

I solved it by following the guide about internet sharing on the arch wiki and not using DHCP, instead I used fixed IP.

All work perfect now.
