Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

I've tried a few themes along the way but always wind up going back to the default theme.

As for extensions, the forecastfox extension you mentioned is a good one for sure, and I do install it on occasion.  Truthfully though, I haven't been all that impressed with most of the extensions out there.

Still, I will be keeping an eye on both themes and extensions in case something really good comes out.

Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

Hit-aHint has to be the greatest extension ever... coupled with swift tabs (next-tab, prev-tab switching)

Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

I use All-in-One Gestures, Tab Mix, Spellbound and Swift tabs, which like phrakture said is awesome.  But neither swift tabs nor Hit-a-Hint is the greatest Firefox extension.  That would have to be Abe Vigoda Status.

Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

I'll post a full list of ff extenstions that I use later but one of the newest and greatest is stumble upon. It'll pick up a random web page for you based on your preferences (and it does it surprisingly well + no spam/ads etc.)

Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

Extensions:
colorzilla
web developer
downthemall
download manager tweak
scrapbook
locale switcher
nuke anything
all in one gestures
disable targets for downloads
dictionary search
tabbrowser preferences
polish lang pack
session saver
adblock
resize search box
hash coloured tabs
minit
measureit
view source with
clusty toolbar
undo close tab
stumble upon
menu editor
view formatted source
view rendered source
noscript
image zoom

I installed some of them just for the tests so the list should be shorter soon.

Themes:
Le Breeze
Lila

These two are quite minimal and easy to customize to have even more space for a webpage and be very useful at the same time:

(still working on it :-))

Re: what firefox skins/extensions do you use?

None whatsoever smile  I only use an edited chrome/userContent.css file to block ads, but I've just noticed that it's a bit outdated (/*Block Ads v.2003-08-04*/ big_smile).

I've used quite some extensions before, but I decided I wanted to try Firefox "as it is"  for a change.  The only option I miss nowadays, is the automatic selection of the previously focused tab if you close one.
