Help! I tried running pm-suspend on my Asus EEE 1215b, and when i tried to wake it up but the screen wouldn't come back on. I had to turn it off with the power button but even when it restarted the screen wouldn't turn on! I tried plugging a monitor into the vga port but it says no signal. SSH doesn't work either but I'm pretty sure I never enabled that.
What can I do?
Thanks!

Ok, whew, I got it to turn back on by pulling the battery out for awhile. But does anyone have any ideas about why this happened and how i can get suspend working in the future?

Do you not even see your grub menu? Can you boot from live media? Have you tried taking the battery out for a few minutes?
Edit: posted this before seeing that the battery trick fixed it :-)

For getting suspend to work, I suggest stfw.

I was looking for updated information about this problem, but nothing useful comes up. The most detailed information about it that i found was on this ubuntu bug.
I have exactly the same problems (it going black, having to remove the battery, etc) on may asus 1215b with latest stable kernel and bios version.
It really seems to be a problem with the bios.
