Wireless without login for SSH with rt2800pci

Hello

I want to get the wireless working (as my desktop is far away from my router I cannot use LAN) without logging in.
I used the rc.conf network settings but the wireless does not come on.
The part of the reason may be: my rt2800pci RALINK wireless has some bug kind of a thing, which makes the module not being loaded at the boot up.
I had to do this when using wpa_supplicant:

rmmod rt2800pci
modprobe rt2800pci
ip link set wlan0 up
... and then I use wpa_supplicant.
But when I use networkmanager or wicd the wireless works automatically but only after I login.

I want to know whether I can get the wireless before login. If the rt2800pci module is the problem then may I know of any tweaks that I can do?

Thank You

Re: Wireless without login for SSH with rt2800pci

Please provide output of lsmod and lspci after boot. Also it would be helpful to see the daemon and module arrays you have in rc.conf.
