netcfg: connect to any available wlan?

Hi everyone,

I've got a bunch of profiles in /etc/network.d/ for different wireless networks and they all work when activated manually (e.g. netcfg home), or upon boot-up when using net-auto-wireless. All is good, but how can I 'manually' connect to 'any' network that is available? Basically, after boot up, it connects automatically to the next-best available network thanks to net-auto-wiress. How can I trigger this manually? For example

A) After boot up, I'm being connected to the home network automatically.
B) I can run netcfg -a to disconnect
C) What do I have to run to connect again, and *not* doing netcfg home, but something else that lets netcfg figure out which network is available automatically?

I hope it's clear what I mean.

Thanks & Regards.
