Wireless password abruptly stopped working

This morning, my wireless broke, and trying to reconnect fails with the message "Connection Failed: Bad Password" in WICD. I haven't touched any system configuration or pacman for at least a few days, but it's possible the computer hasn't been restarted since then.

In addition, falling back to netcfg gives the message "> WPA Authentication/Association Failed" which is bizarre because my WiFi is just using WEP. The netcfg profile is as follows:

CONNECTION='wireless'
DESCRIPTION='A simple...'
INTERFACE='wlan0'
SECURITY='wep'
ESSID='UVEE2'
KEY='[redacted]'
IP='dhcp'

Does anyone have any idea what went wrong?

Re: Wireless password abruptly stopped working

You say you're using Wicd? I find that it does mangle WPA passthings. Can you test whether you can connect with wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd?
