Is there any particular reason for you to use xfce4 terminal? I mean, there are tons of options offering similar functionality, and they seem even more reasonable in your case as you don't use the entire xfce4 desktop...

ou, there is not
but there are two things:
A. I do not like to do not know why something do not work....
B. Can you suggest my some?

Well, as for A. I don't like it either, but sometimes it's not worth spending time on things that can be resolved in a different way.
And for B.: here you have a comprehensive list of terminal emulators. If you wish to have something with similar layout / functionality / configuration style to XFCE4 terminal, you may pick up Roxterm for example, or Terminator. I for one have been using rxvt-unicode for a very long time, but it's just one of my idiosyncrasies.

Thanks
terminator looks perfect and "first impression?" (I am not native English speaker) is a lot better than with xfce-terminal

I'm glad this wasn't closed, because I've been having an almost identical problem, where xfce4-terminal does not integrate well with Fluxbox.
My problem on the other hand is immediate when Fluxbox starts. However, a quick restart of Fluxbox solves the problem and remains solved. For the longest time I thought it was Fluxbox in general, and I checked and played around with almost all settings in ~/.fluxbox. It is in fact only a problem with xfce4-terminal.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Please don't necrobump: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … Bumping.27
Also, you neglected to mention what your other, immediate, problem is...

EDIT : Hi Jason...you beat me to it !
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !
