hi,
i just mooved into my new house, and i got a new cable modem, i have 2 computers, a dell laptop, and a hp pavillion, both were on my network in my apartment, using the same router and same rc.conf, but the probalem is now, my laptop will conect, but my desktop won't,
my laptop has d-link pcmcia nic using pcnet-cs and my desktop uses 8139too, as there respective modules.
i am at a loss of what to do, i have tried to connecting them both directly to the modem, same results as when connected to the router.
any help would be great
