ssh x forwarding

Hi there I was setting up my server and I wanted to be able to access the gui from my client, but I keep getting these errors.

Current version of pixman: 0.24.0
	Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org
to make sure that you have the latest version.

(==) Using config directory: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d"
(EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory

which: no hsetroot in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin/core_perl)
which: no esetroot in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/bin/core_perl)
/home/family/.config/openbox/autostart: line 2: x11vnc: command not found
/usr/bin/env: python2: No such file or directory

libxinerama is present on the server. Any suggestions?

Re: ssh x forwarding

Maybe you need xineramaproto?
What about hsetroot, x11vnc & python2? esetroot is in the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=4537

Re: ssh x forwarding

Well, I got it so I have xforwarding working, although it does not bring up a desktop it does open graphical programs. such as chromium, xclock and such on my client from the server. Has anybody ever had a problem with the screens turning grey?

Just a guess, but https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28216 says

In the xstartup there is a line "xsetroot -solid grey" by default.

Re: ssh x forwarding

Well the screen starts out with color, but then turns grey upon interaction. I do not use a remote desktop client other than OpenSSh. I have an arch client and a barebones arch desktop that I am making into the server using the arch wiki.  I am away from my house at the moment, but I will look into the xsetroot.

Re: ssh x forwarding

It has been a while since I played around with that, but as far as can remember, you need such a client as I said in my previous post.  Did you check on those?

Re: ssh x forwarding

I did look at those, but they are too big in size. I think my current configuartion is working fine. I am just trying to keep this a simple server,
