Belkin N+ router: Can't access USB drives

Hi.

I wasn't sure if I should post this in the newbie forum, or not...

I have a Belkin N+ wireless router that has an USB port that should be accessible through UPnP, or Samba.

What I decided to do was install the Thunar "gvfs-smb", "samba", and "smbclient" packages. I then copied the config file via "cp /etc/samba/smb.conf.default /etc/samba/smb.conf".

Now after plugging in my usb drive, and entering the address in Thunar (smb://192.168.x.x/sda1), I get a prompt with the following.

Password required for share sda1 on 192.168.x.x
Username: root
Domain: MYGROUP
Password:

What am I supposed to do here?
