Mounting root partition over network

I want to mount the / partition of another linux computer over network on my local laptop (say, in /mnt/remotelinux) so that I can later chroot into it and compile a kernel.
This is because the other computer is Pentium 2 and compiling it on its own CPU would take ages.

How can I do the above?

Re: Mounting root partition over network

For diskless nodes I mount rootfs using Nfs, plain simple. v4 of course.
