[solved] utmp not updated anymore

Hello,

the "users" and "who" commands always output nothing. It seems utmp is not updated anymore. uptime also reports, that there are 0 users logged in.

I tried it with both sysvinit and systemd, neither works.
I also searched the log files for "utmp" but nothing showed up.

I THINK (read: am totally not sure) that this came with the latest Arch update.

Any ideas what that might be and how to solve it?

Downgrading shadow to previous version did the trick.

I did search the forums, but missed that one.

Thank you.

Linking direclty to the closed bug report would be more useful...

When I do that I get "Oh, I searched the forums but didn't search the bug tracker".
