I can see how they might want me to know that. But it's really not the kind of information I want to see repeated a hundred times over the course of a day when I'm opening my messages.log
Can I (and am I allowed to) stop dhclient / wicd from spamming my messages.log or do I have to remove it if I want to get rid of those messages?
Also:
Is this a bug or intended behaviour?
And if it's a bug, do I head over to wicd or to dhclient bugtracker? :3
thx

You can probably stop those messages by editing /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf. The wiki has good bit on syslog-ng.
